TEDDY COHEN chose NOT BEING LAZY as a trait for success:

AS A CHILD, NOW, HOW CAN YOU PRACTICE NOT BEING LAZY?

Joey lived in Brooklyn. He wasn’t passing the 8th grade simply because he didn’t put any effort into his work. He kept coming to class late and not writing notes. Tutors didn’t help either. One day Joey had a big test on Gemara that would determine whether he would make it to high school. Joey knew that if he didn’t pass it he wouldn’t get to see all his friends anymore and he would have to do the same work all over again. Joey had a month to prepare. Every morning he work up at 6am to learn Gemara. Every day when he got home from school he would learn Gemara for 2 hours. He didn’t feel nervous on the day of the test. He got 100 on his test and passed 8th grade. Joey wasn’t known to be a lazy boy anymore.
